( Version 1.0.0 2014-10-17)
We strive to make our applications were modern and therefore we use the latest technologies. Many of them are based on platforms and mechanisms available in operating systems, so that our software is stable and compatible with a large number of workstations.
Some of these mechanisms is not available on older operating systems. We also can not guarantee that we will manage to resolve all potential problems on systems that do not already have the support of their manufacturer.
In the case of applications for Microsoft Windows, we fully support installations on Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. Most of our applications, ie. Diving Assistant also requires installed Microsoft NET version 4 or higher (4.5, 4.5.1).
Because many
computers still have Windows XP, we test new versions of the
application also for this version of the system. However, we can not
guarantee repair of all errors because Microsoft discontinued in
April 2014 support for this operating system.
It is very important
that it is the latest version of the system with all available
updates. In the case of Windows XP is required Service Pack 3 and the
latest available on this system .NET version - 4.0.
Most of our solutions work properly on Windows Vista. Like Windows XP is no longer being developed, for example, the latest version of .NET is 4.0, while on newer systems is 4.5.1. As part of providing new versions we perform basic tests, but for the reasons described above, we can not give a full guarantee. Like for Windows XP, make sure that you have installed all the patches and the latest versions of the software. On the day of writing, this is a Windows Vista Service Pack 2 and .NET 4.0.
We can not guarantee that future versions of our software will be supported on legacy operating systems.
At the beginning you should always refer to the minimum system requirements. They are usually described in the license agreement or instructions. Very common our solutions are available in the trial version. To ensure that the application will work, you can free of charge download the demo version and run it on your computer.
The easiest way to check the version of Windows is to run the system tab in the Control Panel: Control panel > System and security > System. There you'll find information about the version of the system (eg. Windows XP), supplements (such as. Service Pack 3) and architecture (eg. 64-bit). The following sample information from Windows 8.1.

Similarly, you can check the version of .NET. To do this, check the list of installed programs: Control Panel > Programs > Programs and functions. In the list, find Microsoft .NET Framework and check if the installed version is suitable.

At the moment, consumer products are mainly available for the Windows operating system.
Professional products are also available on other operating systems, ie. Linux, Solaris, or AIX. However, they are very complex and dedicated to individual use of our customers.
